Senior Product Engineer
Own features end to end, from the data model to the screen people touch, and ship working software every week for products with real users.
What this role is, in plain terms.
You will be the engineer who carries features from idea to launch. You work across the whole of an application, sit close to the people who use it, and ship something real every week. There is no layer between you and the product, and no one waiting to turn your ideas into tickets.
What you will own.
- Own features end to end: the data model, the services behind them, and the interface people use every day.
- Ship a working increment every week and keep the main branch releasable.
- Shape pragmatic foundations that fit the problem now and the scale that is coming.
- Write code clear enough for the next person, with tests where they earn their keep.
- Sit with users and stakeholders, turn their reality into product decisions, and push back when something is wrong.
- Instrument what you ship so you can see how it behaves in the real world and fix the cause when it breaks.
- Bring AI into a feature when it genuinely helps, grounded in real data rather than a demo.
What the role asks of you.
- Five or more years building and shipping live web or mobile applications.
- Real breadth: comfortable from data and services through to a polished, accessible interface.
- A track record of owning features end to end and finishing them well.
- Sound judgement on when to keep things simple and when an investment is worth it.
- Clear written and spoken communication, because you will talk to users and teammates directly.
- Genuine care for live software: reliability, performance, and the unglamorous parts that keep it up.
Helpful, but not required.
- You have taken a product from zero to one.
- You have shipped applied AI inside a real product.
- You have worked in a small team or as a founding engineer.
A clear path in, not a cold start.
What the early going actually looks like.
Get your hands dirty
Pair with the team, ship a small but real change in your first week, and learn how we work by doing.
Own a feature
Take a feature from problem to launch yourself, with the team's support and review.
Own an outcome
Carry a meaningful slice of a product, close to its users, and shape where it goes next.
What the studio offers in return.
- Real ownership of products with real users, not tickets in a queue.
- Teammates you will learn from, and who will learn from you.
- Weekly shipping, so your work reaches people while it still feels fresh.
- Room to go deep on AI, infrastructure, design, or product, as your strengths pull you.
- Remote-first work with a calm, deliberate weekly rhythm.
- Honest feedback and a flat structure, so good ideas win regardless of who has them.
