Product Designer
Start from real user reality and make complex products feel obvious, working hand in hand with engineering rather than throwing designs over a wall.
What this role is, in plain terms.
You will design products people rely on, starting from real user reality rather than a trend. You work hand in hand with engineering through the whole build, and you hold the bar on craft from the first flow to the final pixel.
What you will own.
- Design end to end: research, flows, interaction, and the interface, for products with real users.
- Turn complex, messy workflows into something that feels obvious to use.
- Work alongside engineering through the build, adjusting as real constraints appear.
- Hold a high bar on craft, from structure and typography to motion and final detail.
- Use real usage and feedback to keep sharpening the design after launch.
- Help shape a light, consistent design language across the products we build.
What the role asks of you.
- Four or more years designing and shipping digital products you can show us.
- Strength in product and interaction thinking as well as visual polish.
- A portfolio that shows your reasoning alongside the final screens.
- Comfort working close to engineering and to real technical constraints.
- An eye that can tell good from merely working, and the will to push for good.
Helpful, but not required.
- Experience designing data-heavy, business, or AI-driven products.
- Comfort prototyping in code or with advanced prototyping tools.
- Experience contributing to or running a design system.
A clear path in, not a cold start.
What the early going actually looks like.
Find your footing
Pair with engineering and product, and ship a small design improvement that reaches users.
Own a flow
Design a real feature end to end and see it ship, learning our products and users along the way.
Own the experience
Carry the design of a product area, close to its users, and raise the craft bar around you.
What the studio offers in return.
- Real ownership of products with real users, not tickets in a queue.
- Teammates you will learn from, and who will learn from you.
- Weekly shipping, so your work reaches people while it still feels fresh.
- Room to go deep on AI, infrastructure, design, or product, as your strengths pull you.
- Remote-first work with a calm, deliberate weekly rhythm.
- Honest feedback and a flat structure, so good ideas win regardless of who has them.
